As well-known thought leaders in the field, they provide insight and advice into the Canadian job market, specializing in key industries and sectors such as construction, technology, accounting and finance, human resources, property and real estate, DE&I, to name only a few.

Travis O'Rourke | President of Hays Canada, CCO of Americas
Travis is a Marketing graduate from Fanshawe College and was the 2023 recipient of their Distinguished Alumni Award. He joined Hays after holding various leadership roles elsewhere in the Canadian staffing industry. Travis setup and established Hays' outsourced talent solutions business and played an integral role in building Hays’ temporary and contract divisions throughout Canada. Initially joining Hays with a deep background in Technology, he holds extensive cross functional knowledge to provide clients with talent solutions in Financial Services, Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, Retail, and the Public Sector.
Travis is the Toronto President of ACSESS (Association of Canadian Search, Employment, & Staffing Services) and sits on the board of directors for the National Association of Canadian Consulting Businesses (NACCB). He has been featured in segments with CBC On the Money, BNN The Open, CTV National and other news outlets. Like Hays, Travis is also passionate about corporate social responsibility and is an avid supporter for Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
Outside of work, you’ll find Travis playing golf and spending time with his wife and two children. He is also a liver transplant donor and a Big Brother Big Sister Mentor.

Ellisa Monk | Senior Vice President, Western Canada
Ellisa Monk has worked for Hays since 2006, working her way up from Recruitment Consultant to her present position. Ellisa initially joined Hays in the UK, and after working there for 4 years, she moved to Calgary, Alberta in August 2010. Calgary is where Ellisa currently resides with her husband and two children.
During Ellisa’s career, she has built and developed recruitment teams across various industries, business units and geographies. She is passionate about people’s careers and continuously improving performance, processes, and efficiencies. Presently, Ellisa’s job as Senior Vice President in the West Region involves overseeing highly talented recruitment teams in Calgary and Vancouver. She is also responsible for the contract business strategy nationally and is a member of the Canadian Management Board.
Outside of work, Ellisa makes the most of the Canadian lifestyle living close to the Rockies; skiing, hiking, kayaking, or camping are regular activities for her and her family.

Julien Clement | Vice President, Eastern Canada
Julien has a Master in Finance and started his career at EY France . He joined Hays in Lyon, France in 2011 to help develop the Accounting & Finance desk. Then in 2015 he transferred to Canada, opening the Montreal office in Property and Construction.
Julien went on to launch the A&F division in 2017, as well as other specialties including Manufacturing and Logistics, HR, and more. The following year Julien managed the permanent desk for Montreal and in 2020 for both Montreal and Ottawa.
In August 2021 he got promoted to Regional Director for the Eastern Region and currently manages and leads our Montreal and Ottawa offices. He also has a strong background in Accounting and Finance, Property, Construction, and IT.
Outside of work, you can find Julien as a coach or player of basketball, and spending time hiking and skiing.

Louisa Benedicto | Senior Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion | Americas
Louisa is Senior Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), Corporate Social Responsibility, and Sustainability at Hays – covering the Americas region including Canada, the U.S., and Latin American countries. She specializes in DE&I, enabling our clients to implement best practices that ensure everyone gets a fair opportunity in the recruitment process. Louisa spends her time partnering with clients to help them reach their DE&I goals, by ensuring they are familiar with current market trends, and techniques that will enable them to find the best talent. Louisa is also a graduate from the Inclusive Leadership program at Centennial College.
Louisa began her career with Hays in the UK in 2002 and moved to Japan in 2008 to help lead an acquisition. She then moved to Canada in 2013 where she currently lives with her wife and two children. Additionally, Louisa is fluent in Spanish and Japanese, and was certified as a coach in 2016. As an expert in recruitment and hiring trends, Louisa has also been featured in a variety of publications including CBC’s On The Money, Huffington Post Canada, and the Canadian HR Reporter.

Jackie Burns | Senior Vice President, Enterprise Solutions
Jackie is responsible for leading the Canadian Enterprise Solutions account management and service delivery for our RPO, MSP and enterprise accounts. She holds her CPHR designation and has participated in our International Leadership & Management Program and is a member of the Canadian Management Board.
Starting with Hays Scotland in April 2000 she emigrated to Canada in August 2004 to open our Vancouver office, recruiting for Senior Accounting & Finance professionals. She was promoted to VP, Western Canada in January 2010 to oversee multiple specialisms for both permanent and contract contingent recruitment.
In March 2016, Jackie was appointed Director, People & Culture (Americas) to support the integration of a newly acquired Hays business in the USA and worked closely with the operations teams in Canada and LATAM. She has contributed to the continuous improvement of our hiring, L&D, internal employee experience programs and is one of our Change Methodology mentors across the region and continues to have a passion for developing others in her current role.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jackie in the mountains hiking or snowboarding, attending a yoga class, checking out live music or tracking down the latest BC craft brewery with her husband, Russ, and beagle, Otis.

Gillian Grand | Vice President, Delivery Center
Gillian started her career at Hays in 2014 as an Account Manager on a contract desk. She quickly saw an area for high volume work and was able to develop our Corporate Accounts team specializing in contract projects. Our sourcing team joined the Delivery center in 2019 and developed into an 80+ team of sourcing partners that deliver into Technology, Contract Professionals, Enterprise Solutions and Strategic Accounts in Canada. The Delivery Center also delivers into Enterprise Solutions and Direct Sourcing in the USA. Gillian has an expertise in MSP, RPO, VMS, Direct Sourcing and Executive Search.
Outside of work, you can find Gillian cooking and trying new recipes with her husband and daughter as well as exploring Toronto.

Sean Byrne | Vice President of Growth, Senior Director – Enterprise Solutions
A graduate from the Technological University of Dublin, Sean’s career primarily comes from finance, which helps him ensure that our clients achieve success while making their budgets go longer.
Supporting them across a range of industries in North America with access to the very best talent available in the market, Sean helps them gain proper visibility and control within their workforce while mitigating risk and reducing costs.
Having emigrated from Dublin, Ireland, ten years ago in search of adventure and an opportunity to build his career in an ethnically diverse culture, Sean is also the lead singer of The Soulkicks, a soul band based in Toronto.

Alexandra Szabo | Lead Counsel
As a management side employment and labour lawyer who specialized in legal and contractual aspects of the world of work, Alexandra assisted employers through complex legal matters including hiring, employee compensation and benefits, termination, severance packages and more.
At Hays, Alexandra is the Lead Counsel, supporting all business areas with a focus on employment-related issues and corporate contracts.
Her experience includes a proven track record in sales and account management within the staffing and recruiting industry, backed by a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The University of Edinburgh.

Caterina Anzorena | Senior Finance Director
Caterina began her career as a member of PwC’s Global Capital Markets Group. She then transitioned to the construction and retail sectors, as Director of Finance and Administration for Premium Outlets de Mexico. Joining Hays in 2011, Caterina set up the local finance and payroll functions in Mexico and now leads financial teams as the Senior Finance Director for Canada. She has worked on various Finance Transformation Projects across the Americas.
Driven by her passion for learning about different cultures, Caterina enjoys working with people from around the globe and values family time and traveling. She holds an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, and is a trilingual accountant, speaking English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Mirelle Olivier | Regional Finance Director | Americas
Mirelle has held many roles in the Hays Global finance team, notably Financial Controller for the EMEA region along with several roles in Hays UK&I Finance. Most recently, she has been working as Finance Director at Frank Recruitment Group.
She supports our experienced country Finance Directors to deliver a best-in-class finance function and on building future-proof finance solutions to support our business.
Having been the Canadian Finance Director from 2019 until 2021, Mirelle brings her significant Hays Global experience, notably working with the Global Finance leadership team running ‘Project Magellan’ in 2021 and 2022.
She is an engaging, commercially minded, and thoughtful leader who is passionate about people development.

Laura Webster | Senior Marketing Director | Americas
With over a decade of experience in recruitment marketing, Laura heads up the Americas marketing team for Hays, covering US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
With a proven track record of delivering strategic marketing programs for both our specialist recruitment business and workforce solutions division across global markets, Laura has experience across both B2B and B2C marketing, specializing in talent attraction & engagement trends and best practices.
Passionate about creating marketing experiences that engage and empower candidates and clients, she is also an avid reader and a sporadic social media poster, where she enjoys sharing her perspectives on the broad world of marketing.

Salv Caminiti | Chief Information and Technology Officer | Americas
With nearly 20 years of IT experience in the staffing space, Salv is our Americas and Global Enterprise Solutions Technology lead. Passionate about the transformative impact of technology in enabling talented people to do great things, Salv has worked at Hays for more than 8 years, moving from our Sydney office to Tampa in 2023.
As head of our Front Office Systems, Infrastructure and Business Enabling Applications, Salv ensures our experts across the business have access to the tools they need to deliver for our clients.
When not at work, Salv can be found travelling the world with his family, notably France, where he hopes to retire one day.
