Workday Learning & Recruiting Senior Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Configuration Specialist with expertise in Workday Recruiting and Workday Learning modules. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Workday solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of Workday Recruiting and Learning functionalities, ensuring the system meets user and organizational needs.

Collaborating within the HRIS team is essential to ensure consideration of cross functional impacts.
This role will be based in Toronto and is required to be onsite 4 days a week

Your new role

Workday Configuration & Support:
  • Lead the configuration and maintenance of Workday modules, including but not limited to Recruiting and Learning.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition HR Service Desk, and Learning & Development teams to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for configuration.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday Recruiting and Learning modules based on business requirements.
  • Experience in project management or leading HRIS initiatives preferred.
  • Support the transition to HR Service desk with proper knowledge transfer and documentation
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Workday configurations, business processes, notifications, validations, and security within the modules, ensuring proper smoke testing is completed prior to handing over to business owner for testing.
  • Managing support tickets ensuring timely solution management.
  • Support and reporting requirements, working closely with the reporting team.
  • Ensure system integrity by performing regular audits and troubleshooting issues.
  • Stay updated with Workday releases and enhancements, analyzing their impact and implementing new features.
  • Resolve system-related issues efficiently and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze trends in user requests to recommend long-term solutions.
  • Creation of change documentation for configuration move into Production environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Workday configuration experiences with
    A focus on Recruiting and/or Learning modules.
  • Proven experience in configuring and supporting Workday Recruiting and Learning modules.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with integrations, reporting, and dashboards within Workday.
