Our client, a rapidly growing asset manager located in North York are looking to hire a VP Investment

As the VP, Investment Finance, you will work directly with the CEO on a range of investment and finance focused tasks; cost management, planning, and reporting, ensuring compliance and alignment with business requirements and overseeing global lease administration. You will act as the lead contact for M&A due diligence and integration activities related to real estate and facilities, liaising with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include implementing industry best practices to enhance real estate strategy alignment, developing relationships with stakeholders, leading real estate transactions and negotiations across the Americas, and identifying opportunities for portfolio rationalization and cost savings. You will oversee budget planning, and enhance departmental controls to ensure compliance.

The suitable candidate is required to hold an MBA or similar master's level degree. The VP Investment Finance, you will need 15+ years of experience in corporate real estate finance/ investment management experience. You will need to have a proven ability to solve problems independently, strong commercial leasing negotiation and contract management skills, and excellent financial and analytical skills. The VP Investment Finance will need to have exceptional relationship building and client management skills are required, along with a collaborative, consultative style and a strong customer service mentality. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and motivate a diverse team will be essential for success in this role.
