Your new role
We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our group. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the sales force while assisting in the development of tactical plans. You’ll work in close cooperation with sales management in order to meet the company’s strategic objectives for the solutions business.
- Develop, coordinate and implement strategic plans for promoting and selling solutions in Canada.
- Understand, identify and communicate within the company, solutions offerings that represent sustainable and substantial growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing the strategic direction and messages for external promotion, such as web and print-based media.
- Participation in industry trade shows
- Provides high level sales support for key accounts in coordination with sales and key account management.
- Identify and develop in collaboration with marketing communications sales tools and training materials to facilitate the promotion and sales pursuit of solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Engineering or Business
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in instrumentation or technology related fields.
- Previous experience within a customer contact sales, marketing or technical customer support role
- Fluent in English and French (written/spoken) is an asset.
