Our client is a leading global manufacturer of custom-built precision parts for mining, water/ waste water and similar industries and has a job open for Technical Sales Rep / Sales Engineer / Sales Technologist / Quotation Engineer - to be based out of their office in Mississauga - Brampton, ON area. This is a customer facing sales rep role fully responsible for bringing in new sales, new customers, improving market share, new prospect strategy , market mapping and participate in customer RFQs, for technical solutions writing including mechanical layout drawings etc. This requires 5 days a week from the office.

Technical Sales Rep / Sales Engineer / Sales Technologist / Quotation Engineer will have minimum of 3–4 years of experience from custom-built precision parts in metal / aluminum / steel ( similar ) and ideally an existing book of network in heavy industrial sectors like mining, water / wastewater and similar. Track record of sales growth, market development, customer revenue increase and similar is a MUST. Ability to read drawings is a MUST. Experienced in preparing formal quotations and proposal writing for machinery design, having strong experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred. Experience of receiving quotations from vendors, writing and running RFP RFQ, presenting to the customers is a MUST. Excellent English communication skills, experience in presenting to external customers leading the RFP - RFQ process is a MUST. Ability to travel and attend trade shows (30%)
