We are looking for an experienced Multifamily 4-6 Storey Wood Frame Superintendent for a residential builder in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have experience of overseeing 2 or more apartment projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain construction schedules, budgets, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure that all work is done in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Perform regular inspections of the construction site to ensure work is being completed to the required standards.
• Manage and train on-site staff, including labourers, carpenters, and tradespeople.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management on project timelines, budgets, and overall status.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent with a focus on multifamily 4-6 storey wood frame projects.
• Experience of overseeing 2 or more apartment projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management practices, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
