Hays has partnered with an established firm with offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver who are looking for a Studio Lead to join and lead their Calgary studio. This award-winning firm are pioneers in the field of sustainability and the power of collaborative design. Your new role
In your role, you will be playing an integral part in the success of the firm, through effective leadership, innovative business development, and nurturing of established relationships. You will be responsible for leading and managing the Calgary studio, providing mentorship and direction for the local team. Fostering a collaborative and creative studio culture, encouraging professional growth and development. This role will build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. To attract new clients and projects you will engage in marketing and business development activities. Overseeing project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, working with clients, stakeholders and the internal team to deliver impactful projects.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Registered Architect with AAA or similar. You will have a Bachelors or master’s in architecture from an accredited college or university. Ideally you will have previous experience working on various project types including post-secondary, recreational, community & first nations. Experience in sustainable design/ LEED AP & working with first nations communities is a strong asset. You will have demonstrated leadership, business development and marketing, and strategic planning experience.
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package $130,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience) + bonus, extended benefits & health spending, 4 weeks’ vacation and continuing education allowance.
