Are you a procurement pro with a knack for contract negotiation and a passion for building long-term supplier relationships? We’re on the lookout for a talented Sr. Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our vibrant team!

Your Role

In this exciting position, you’ll be at the heart of our procurement operations, working closely with our teams in Denmark and Germany. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and managing contracts with suppliers, warehouses, and service providers.
  • Collaborating with the SC Manager, PM Manager, Quality Control, and Procurement teams.
  • Driving customer-focused initiatives, reducing costs, minimizing waste, and enhancing product efficacy and ingredient efficiency.
  • Participating in supplier shows and travelling as needed.

You’ll report to the SC Manager and work alongside the PM Manager, Quality Control, Procurement (sourcing, not buying), and Warehouse teams. Your success will be measured by customer satisfaction, cost reduction, waste minimization, product efficacy, and ingredient efficiency.

Your Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • Over 6 years of procurement experience, preferably in a B2B environment within CDMO manufacturing.
  • Industry experience in sourcing for consumer-packaged goods or human health-related businesses.
  • Strong financial acumen, including savings calculations and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to articulate demands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ERP/SAP experience preferred.
  • Accurate data entry and proofreading skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective communication skills and professionalism at all levels.
  • A self-starter attitude with limited supervision.
  • A team-focused mindset and a positive work environment.

Preferred experience includes industry knowledge in the cannabis, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food sectors, along with familiarity with Health Canada and FDA regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively both independently and with others.
