The ideal candidate will have experience in designing fire sprinkler systems for various types of buildings and will be proficient in using design software. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all fire protection systems meet the required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations to ensure system efficiency and compliance with codes.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements and provide design solutions.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national fire protection codes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and verify installation accuracy.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler system design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD, AutoSprink).
- Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in fire protection design (e.g., NICET) is a plus.
