• Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations to ensure system efficiency and compliance with codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements and provide design solutions.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national fire protection codes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and verify installation accuracy.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler system design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD, AutoSprink).
• Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in fire protection design (e.g., NICET) is a plus.
