Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Superintendent with local project experience in the area to lead a dynamic team on exciting water/wastewater and institutional/commercial projects.

Your new role

• Take ownership of the site, providing leadership and direction to subcontractors and other workforces.
• Champion safety, ensuring a secure and productive work environment.
• Plan, schedule, and control daily construction activities, keeping projects on time and within budget.
• Guarantee high quality project and materials results, adhering to plans and specifications.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years of experience in Water/Wastewater and/or Institutional, Commercial construction (i.e, Schools, Long-term Care, Big Box Retail, Shopping Centres, Hospitals, Fire Stations, etc.).
• Engineering degree or college diploma in a construction-related program (Civil or Mechanical preferred). Gold Seal Certification is a plus!
• Proven experience with a general contracting or process mechanical contracting company.
• Strong background in concrete works, earthworks, and process mechanical and electrical construction (water & wastewater experience preferred).
• Direct site supervision experience on large projects ($10M - $100M).
• Exceptional leadership, motivational, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of contract documents, drawings, and project schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for security clearances.
