Senior Sourcing Manager - IT

Mississauga, Guelph, Burlington

The Sr. Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the identification of sourcing opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the end to end Procurement lifecycle, working with Tier 1 IT Vendors and managing relationships. You will be responsible for cost reduction, whilst maintaining or improving the level of quality and service provided. The role will include developing category sourcing strategies and plans, the management of tendering processes, negotiating contract terms and conditions. You will also be responsible for managing a team of 2 to 3 direct reports.

As the ideal candidate you must have 8+ years of IT Procurement experience. You must have experience working with Tier-1 or Tier-2 vendors. Experience in leading negotiations and the ability to influence stakeholders is a key requirement for this role. You must have the ability to lead process, set strategies and identify cost saving opportunities.
