As a Senior Property Manager at Rural Stores Ltd., you will manage and operate a diverse portfolio of retail properties. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the properties are well-maintained, financially viable, and compliant with all regulations. You will oversee the operations, management, and administration of the portfolio, manage on-site teams, and manage annual operating and capital budgets to meet landlord objectives. This role is perfect for an experienced property management professional with a proven track record of delivering excellent service to tenants and landlords. Your duties will include supporting the company’s property management strategies, maintaining policies, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing tenant issues promptly, preparing and managing budgets, overseeing building operations and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.

To excel in this role, you need extensive experience in managing commercial or retail properties, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include preparing budgets, reviewing statements, and interpreting leases. You should have a solid understanding of operational procedures, building maintenance, and service contracts. A proactive attitude, team-building skills, and the ability to manage tenant improvements and complex landlord-tenant relationships are essential. A valid driver’s license, tech adaptability, and being organized and self-motivated are also required.
