Your new company

Our client, an international manufacturing and construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. This role will be responsible for reporting the financial results of one of their key business units, including the consolidation of multiple entities. The Senior FP&A Analyst will also orchestrate the budget cycle and work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

Your new role

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the relevant business units.

  • Consolidation: Consolidate financial results from multiple entities to provide a comprehensive view of business performance.

  • Budgeting: Lead the annual budget cycle, including the preparation, review, and finalization of budgets.

  • Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

  • Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities including bridging financial results.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Finance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment

  • Someone curious, hand's-on, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level attention to detail and accuracy.
