Your new role
They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Sales Finance to be responsible for following areas;
- Provide data analysis and proactive recommendations to the sales team to drive profitable business decisions and growth.
- Offer analytical support on financial and market impacts of pricing decisions.
- Analyze monthly volume, trade, net sales, and gross margin results to aid in accurate forecasting.
- Review monthly business results, issue reports, and make improvement recommendations.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to enhance customer business performance.
- Monitor overall customer volume and trade spend financial performance.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools and processes for deeper analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and special projects as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3-5 years of financial analysis experience at the Senior Financial Analyst level.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
- Background in Sales/Trade Finance, FP&A, or Brand Finance.
- University degree in Business or Accounting.
- Accounting designation (CPA) preferred or near completion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Excel Modeling).
- Proficient in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with S4 SAP, Trade Pro Management Software, or other Trade Funds Management systems.
- Strong business communication, partnering, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels.
- Skilled in problem definition, data collection and analysis, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
