Your New Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing advanced electrical systems for a variety of projects. Your role will involve:
  • Leading the design and development of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components
  • Conducting detailed electrical calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
  • Overseeing the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering and incorporating innovative technologies into your designs

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project management
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement
