Our client, Bastion Development, takes pride in providing exceptional living spaces in sought-after neighborhoods across Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and California. With a focus on outstanding quality and a commitment to managing properties to the highest standards, Bastion Development stands as a privately owned real estate developer and landlord based in Vancouver. This company are seeking a Residential Leasing Coordinator to join the team.

Your new role

The role involves providing an exceptional tenant experience from initial contact to move-out while achieving financial targets for residential rental buildings. Responsibilities include overseeing leasing activities, ensuring proper advertising, conducting market research, and managing tenant issues such as evictions and disputes. The role also involves assisting with maintenance coordination, overseeing unit turnovers, and supporting the Property & Asset Manager with administrative tasks. Additional duties include managing reception, monitoring tenant communications, tracking insurance, reviewing monthly accounts receivable reports, and coordinating with parking management. Please note this role will be situated at the front desk to manage walk-ins and any related reception duties.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, candidates need to be charismatic, possess a warm personality, and make a strong first impression. Proven experience in administration, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and expand knowledge in residential and commercial real estate are essential. The ability to handle sensitive information with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality is highly valued. In addition to this, the right candidate will be highly organized with strong time management skills. You must have a valid BC Driver’s License as driving is required to visit sites for inspections and suite showings. Preference is given to those with experience within the real estate industry.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a salary of $60,000 to $70,000, 3 weeks’ vacation, discretionary bonus, car allowance and extended health package.
