Your new company
We have partnered with a local real estate Developer which has been developing and managing properties for over 50 years in the Canadian market. It is seeking a Property Manager to join the Residential team to manage multifamily properties locally.
Your new role
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the residential portfolio, ensure the properties are maintained to a high standard as well as supervisor the on-site building caretakers. Your key duties include developing annual plan for capital improvements, rent increases, preparing budgets, working with Building Managers to lease units, tenant relations, scheduling maintenance, coordinate suite upgrades, follow up on rent arrears, month end reporting, respond to after hours emergencies, participate in due diligence of potential new acquisitions and attend staff meetings as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5 years’ experience within residential property management, have working knowledge of building maintenance processes and procedures and experience supervising site staff. You must have a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act, excellent customer service skills, having proven experience working with budgets and be highly organized.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive compensation of $85,000-$95,000 (depending on experience), bonus, car allowance and extended benefits. You will be an integral part of an established company and guided by progressive leaders in the real estate industry.
