Project Manager - Large Loss for a leading property restoration and construction company out of the GTA.

Your new company

Hays has partnered with a growing company, headquartered out of the Greater Toronto Area with offices across Canada. They focus on restoration, emergency mitigation and general construction services for properties affected by floods, fires or other damage. They are looking to add two Project Managers with a focus on large loss, residential! One will focus on the Hamilton region and one in the Greater Toronto Area.

Your new role

The open role is for a Project Manager (x2) to join the team and report directly to the Operations Manager. They will oversee emergency mitigation and construction projects, primarily focused on residential. They will be able to monitor job costs and ensure profitability at the end of projects. They will be able to deal with internal and external stakeholders, and will help with estimation through to project completion.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful Project Manager candidate will have at least 5 years of Project Management experience within insurance restoration. They must have at least two years experience with large complex projects in residential and multifamily. They will have estimation experience, be sound in budgeting and monitoring job costs and will be able to ensure profitability of projects. The PM will be strong with computers and have working knowledge of Xactimate and MS Applications. Finally, this individual will be an effective communicator with the ability to meet with internal teams and work with external contractors to ensure requirements and safety concerns are met.
