Your new company
We are working with a construction company based in Surrey looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join their fast-paced and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within payroll while reporting to the Payroll Manager.
Your new role
Process full-cycle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for approximately 700 employees
Verify that payroll earnings and deductions are precise and adhere to company policies, collective agreements, and CRA regulations
Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries
Calculate and reconcile G/L accounts and vacation balances monthly
Process T4's and T2200's along with ROE's and PIER Forms
What you'll need to succeed
5+ years payroll experience
Experience with both union and non-union full cycle payroll
Experience interpreting collective agreements in a unionized workplace is an asset.
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
