Your new role

Polaris Realty is hiring a Manager, Lease Administration for their Vancouver office. This role involves managing all aspects of lease documentation, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking key lease agreements and amendments. The Manager will coordinate with various departments to meet critical deadlines, consult with legal and insurance teams on major changes, and ensure the execution and proper filing of legal documents. Responsibilities include preparing reports like Lease Abstracts, Leasing Activity Reports, and Rent Rolls, while keeping stakeholders informed of deals and critical dates. The role also requires maintaining accurate lease data in JD Edwards, managing tenant move-ins and move-outs, assisting with leasing budgets, and ensuring leasing templates are up-to-date. Strong organizational and communication skills are vital for success in this position.

What you'll need to succeed

A Paralegal Certificate is considered an asset for this role (although not required), alongside expertise in leasing and legal terminology and the ability to review and draft complex legal documents. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of offers, leases, and the leasing process are essential. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines, demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and can work independently and proactively. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, while familiarity with JD Edwards or SAP is beneficial. Exceptional communication skills and a self-motivated attitude are key to excelling in this position.
