Your new company

Our client is a comprehensive real estate company with 50 years of experience, managing and investing in a diverse portfolio of properties across North America, including office buildings, industrial properties, retail spaces, multi-suite residential buildings, and hotels. This firm are looking for a Leasing Manager to join their team based Downtown Vancouver.

Your new role

The Commercial Leasing Manager oversees leasing operations for commercial properties, including negotiating lease agreements, securing tenants, and maintaining high occupancy rates. They stay informed on market trends, ensure legal compliance, handle tenant relations, develop marketing strategies, and manage administrative duties to maximize property profitability and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Urban Economics, or Real Estate, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of leasing experience in the office/industrial industry. They should possess solid knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, credit analysis, risk assessment, and a current Commercial Real Estate License. A strong understanding of office/industrial leases and proficiency in MS Office applications are also required. Core competencies include excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, negotiation and business development skills, a driven and passionate attitude towards closing deals, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
