Your new role
The company is seeking an intermediate level Intern Architect, Architect, or Architectural Technologist with experience in mid- to large-scale institutional or community projects or high-rise multifamily/mixed-use projects. This position involves working closely with project Principals and Project Leads to manage project teams and oversee construction document production. You will contribute to our ongoing pursuit of architectural excellence through effective team management and production of design, permit, and construction documents.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree or diploma in Architecture or Architectural/Building Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Registration or eligibility to be registered with the AIBC.
- 5 or more years of applicable experience with mid- to large-scale institutional or community projects or high-rise multifamily/mixed-use projects.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee or assist in project development, effective team management, and production of coherent architectural expression.
- High quality standards and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Technical proficiency including envelope detailing ability.
- Proficiency in Revit and working experience with BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Construction contract administration experience.
- Consultant coordination experience.
- Building code knowledge and experience.
- Specification knowledge and experience.
