Your new company
A globally established Architecture firm is looking for an Intermediate Architect, AIBC, to join their Vancouver team. Having established themselves in the mid 1970s, they have grown from being an established Canadian company to also having offices in the USA. They are recognized as an award-winning company locally and internationally for their work on a variety of project types and as a leading employer.
The team has been built by experienced individuals with varied project backgrounds, which has led them to succeed in building a vast project portfolio. Project types include education, institutional, commercial, industrial (ICI), medical / health care, tenant improvement (TI) / interior, and residential (mid-rise, and high rise).
Your new role
As an Intermediate Architect / Intern Architect, AIBC, you will be working directly with the Project Architect, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of Architectural designs, detailing, documentation, drawings, modelling and ultimately delivery of projects. You will have the opportunity to see projects through their entire life cycle. You will be using Revit as your primary software and may use additional modelling softwares.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have full life cycle project experience on a variety of project types in Revit, work strongly with their team members and external consultants, as well as be passionate about Architecture and Design.
Other qualifications include:
- 3+ years experience of Architecture experience.
- Post Secondary Education in Architecture.
- Software: Revit (strong), Rhino, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bluebeam.
- Notable institutional and residential project experience.
- Construction Documentation (CD) experience.
- Construction Administration is an asset.
