Hays is proud to partner with a national landlord, specialized in industrial properties, for the role of the Industrial Property Manager.

Your new role

• Frequently perform site inspections and prepare inspection reports;
• Performs financial control activities including the management of annual operating budgets, rent collection and meeting annual targets;
• Liaises with the tenants on day-to-day property management issues;
• Develops and maintains preventative and corrective maintenance schedules; and oversees maintenance activities;
• Manages subcontractor activities for goods and services including preparation of tender documents, tender and the bidding process, negotiating the best possible terms and preparing contract documents;
• Responds to Tenant billing inquiries and related correspondence;
• Approval and sign-off of rent rolls;
• Provides recommendations of account write-offs for senior management approval;
• Monitors service level request from Tenants and ensures that they are within the scope of the leases;
• Required to respond to after-hours emergency calls;
• Other special projects and duties as assigned;

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with a Property Manager title for industrial, retail, or office properties. Experience solely within residential real estate will not be considered;

• Proficiency in French & English, both in writing and orally;

• Access to a private vehicle and a valid driver's license;

• Financial acumen;

• Excellent customer service capabilities;

• Experience with YARDI or SPACE software is an asset, but not required;
