Human Resources Manager, Southwestern Ontario, Manufacturing, $

Hays Human Resources in Ontario is partnered with our client in Southwestern Ontario to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager.

Your new role

This role will lead the Human Resources operations for the assigned location. In this role, as the Human Resources Manager, you will lead a small team and work alongside the leadership team to lead the Human Resources function. This is a true Generalist, HR Manager role, where you will provide direction on Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Employee and Labour Relations, Policy Interpretation, Performance Management and DE&I. To be effective in this role, you will support the leadership team as a true Business Partner and collaborate closely with them to problem-solve on a daily basis. This role is for someone who brings well-rounded HR Management experience in another labor-heavy environment.

What you’ll need to Succeed

To succeed as the Human Resources Manager, you will bring 9+ years’ experience within Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a management capacity, and you must bring experience from another labour heavy/ ideally manufacturing environment. You will have formal HR education in the form of a Bachelors, and/ HRM or / CHRL. You will have experience as a people leader and will be proven at being able to support day to day HR operations, while being someone who can see the bigger picture and be more strategic as required. You will have strong knowledge of the ESA in Ontario and be excited about developing in your career long term, alongside an industry leader who offers extensive long-term career development opportunities. You will be a solid communicator both orally and written and be forward-thinking and capable with computer programs.
