in steel and fabrication industry and have a job open for a Production Supervisor / Fabrication Supervisor for the afternoon shift for their manufacturing plant in their Kitchener - Guelph – Milton, ON area. Experience supervising / managing CNC Lathe Machining welding and similar is a MUST-have.

Production Supervisor – Afternoon Shift is fully responsible for giving leadership to the plant and shift operations supervising processes in CNC, Lathe, Cutting, Bending, Welding and similar. You will be responsible for labour scheduling, safety, performance management, coaching and mentoring. You will oversee the shift budget, ensure production planning, material planning, production scheduling, shipping and receiving. You will work with Plant Engineering Process Improvement for any Continuous Improvement lean initiatives.

Production Supervisor– Afternoon Shift will ideally have a degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) and a minimum of 5–6 years’ leadership experience as production supervisor within a CNC welding environment. CNC (MUST have) Hands-on welding experience / experienced welder (MIG TIG) with leadership / management/ team lead experience is highly preferred.
