Job Description:
Hays is working with a leading flooring company, and they are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Estimator to join their company. This company offers a leadership team with over 100 years' combined experience together with a fully functional marble and granite fabrication facility with 8 personnel, along with 60 field personnel highly skilled in the installation of CERAMIC, PORCELAIN, GLASS AND STONE.
As a Flooring Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and materials required for various flooring projects. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work both remotely and in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and material take-offs
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure accurate project specifications
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the flooring industry
- Experience with Bluebeam, Planswift, Revit is a must.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: Depending on experience
