Your new role

The open role is for a Director of Construction, reporting directly to the CEO of our respective client. This individual will oversee all aspects of residential mid-rise construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and extensive experience in residential construction. They will select contractors and trades to complete the projects for our client and ensure that all work meets industry standards and quality. They will monitor and maintain project schedules, conduct progress meetings, and report back to management on timelines and project status. They will work with the internal development team and external consultants to assess constructability.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful Director of Construction will have 15+ years of residential construction with experience managing mid-rise residential projects from start to finish. They will have strong relationships with trades and contractors and have the ability to select these individuals to complete the work. They will be well versed in construction processes and practices in order to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards. Finally, they will be an effective communicator and be able to deal with internal and external personnel.

What you'll get in return

The Director of Construction will receive a base salary up to $225,000 plus potential bonus and benefits. They will have the opportunity to lead this new construction division for our client developer and grow a team eventually.
