Location: Toronto (hybrid)
Role : Data Analyst with Azure background.

Job Title: Data Analyst Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data modeling, and Azure cloud services. This role involves analyzing data, creating reports, and implementing data solutions that align with our company's goals. Responsibilities:
  • Work with Business Users directly to understand requirement and work.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain data models and databases using Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, and other Azure data services.
  • Understanding of data catalogs
  • Implement automated data lineage and impact analysis to ensure data quality and traceability.
  • Optimize query performance and data processing efficiency to meet stringent SLAs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • Being proactive to find optimization scopes and propose and work on the same.
  • Qualifications:
    Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure technology stack, specifically on Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
    Proficiency in SQL
    Proficiency in Python(Pandas, Numpy)
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Experience in data modeling and database management.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
