Hays is currently working alongside and established and reputable construction services and civil infrastructure company who has been in operations for 30 years. They are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Quality Manager to join there team.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, overseeing contract management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and government regulations. You will also lead and mentor a team of quality professionals to achieve our organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Transportation and Economic Corridors regarding all quality requirements, attending monthly and ad hoc meetings as needed.
  • Oversee contract management processes, ensuring all contracts are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in audit reporting through regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and clients to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Manager on IMS Program Key Performance Indicators.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Qualifications:
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction/Project Management is required, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 training and certification, along with hands-on application. Six Sigma Certified Lead Auditor certification is required..
  • Prior experience in related quality management role - preferably within the construction space.
  • Proven leadership ability with a talent for building and fostering teamwork. Strong relationship-building skills with clients, government entities, management, and operations teams.
