You will be employed by Hays through our partnership with our client Vale, a leader in the mining industry, whose responsibility is to positively impact their people, communities, and the environment. Your new role

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable individual to fill the role of Construction Supervisor. The Construction Supervisor To optimize the management of all Projects required to support plant project and maintenance/operation work and integrate the work at the plant level. Working with the Voisey's Bay team, this role is on a 14x14 days schedule, and the contract will go until December 31st, 2025.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven field supervisory skills

  • A strong maintenance and/or project background and internal customer focus

  • 5-7+ years of experience at an Mining, Smelting or Refining Operation, Industrial or Chemical Plant Operation with exposure to project work of various sizes

  • Strong and fluent understanding of computer programs and applications (Outlook, SAP, MS Word and Excel, MS Office, Teams, CMMS)

  • Strong knowledge of site safety, construction, mining, industrial, OH&S, and environmental regulations.
