Hays has partnered with a restaurant brand to find them a Construction Project Manager to successfully manage construction of new restaurant development throughout Ontario, but not limited to across Canada.

The core purpose of this Project Manager will be to manage projects from pre-construction stages through to completion in accordance with the development plan. They will focus on new stores, renovation and special projects. They will be responsible for the communication and coordination with the construction team and ensuring the project is on schedule, while maintaining standards and expectations. Finally, they will manage project budgets, communicate with the corporate platform internally and with subtrades and contractors externally.

The successful Construction Project Manager candidate will have a minimum of 5 years managing construction projects in restaurants and/or retail outfits and have a university or college degree in a related field. They will have the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, they will understand construction drawings and be able to manage all phases of construction. This Project Manager will have experience in accounting principles to monitor costs, prepare budgets, etc and have troubleshooting skills and be able to resolve conflicts. Finally, they will be a team player, and have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
