HAYS in Ottawa is hiring for a General Licensed Condominium Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Condominium Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of our condominium property. The ideal candidate will hold a General License and have extensive experience in condominium management. This role involves ensuring compliance with legal regulations, maintaining property standards, managing financials, and fostering positive relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of common areas, ensuring the property is well-maintained and meets all safety standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with the Condominium Act, Condominium Management Services Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, board members, and service providers. Facilitate effective communication and resolve conflicts.
- Negotiate contracts, oversee service providers, and ensure quality service delivery.
- Address resident complaints and concerns, promote a harmonious living environment, and enforce community rules.
- Develop and implement emergency protocols to ensure resident safety and property security.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a General License issued by the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO)
- Minimum of 2 years (2,920 hours) of experience in condominium management
- Completion of required educational courses in Condominium Law, Physical Building Management, Financial Planning, and Condominium Administration
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in property management software and financial management tools.
- Office setting within the condominium property. Occasional travel may be required for meetings and inspections.
- Full-time position with flexibility to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
