Seeking a Sr. Cloud Architect, Citrix on AWS

Cloud Architect – Citrix on AWS

Client: Cloud Services
Role: Cloud Architect – Citrix on AWS
Role Type: Contract – 4 Months
Salary/Rate: Open to discuss.
Location: Canada (Remote)

Our client’s customer, is a top tier company in the Insurance Industry, is seeking a Sr. Cloud Architect, Citrix on AWS, to lead a program to migrate and modernize their existing on-premises Citrix infrastructure on the AWS Cloud on a 4-month contract.

The existing Citrix implementation provides desktop and virtual applications for approximately 700 users and is comprised of around 120 VMware Virtual Machines.

The ideal candidate should have a combination of the following skills, with a strong focus on Citrix Implementation and Migration experience, ideally on the AWS Cloud:

  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure, advanced/expert knowledge on AWS Hybrid Networking (Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway) - nice to have
  • AWS Workspaces - nice to have
  • End User Computing Experience - very desirable
    1. FlexApp
    2. Profile Unity
    3. Endpoint Management
    4. Image Management

  • Experience with Citrix and Citrix DaaS - must have
    1. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
    2. Citrix StoreFront
    3. Citrix ADC/Gateway
    4. Citrix Workspace
    5. Citrix Gateway
  • Migration and Modernization of existing on-premise Citrix environments to Public Cloud - must have
  • Migration of Citrix into AWS Cloud
