Your new company is well known within the mining space. It is located in the core DT Vancouver area.

Your new role

You will support the CEO & Board of Directors daily, you will be responsible for the below:

• Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions
• Direct accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
• Provide advice to the CEO and the Board
• Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company's financial information
• Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors
• Work with IT department on technology decisions
• Manage the At-the-Market program and other financing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with credit agreement, regulations on the stock market, and other regulations applicable to the company
• Responsible for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Work with Chief Technical Officer on project evaluation and analysis

What you'll need to succeed

CPA Designation. 3-5 Years experience operating at CFO within the mining space. Experience supporting a CEO and board of directors with business risks and financial decisions.
