Senior Architectural Technologist - $80k+ - In-Office - Toronto

Your new role
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for working primarily within contract document production. You will take initiatives to ensure projects’ advancement within schedule and budget. You will negotiate and take decisions. You will coordinate and maintain good relationships with consultants, contractors and clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have 5 years’ experience in a variety of design-oriented projects. You are passionate about design and dedicated to design excellence, familiar with all aspects of the architect’s role in the design and construction process. You will be knowledgeable about concrete + wood construction, building envelope, building detailing and building systems, and OBC. The successful candidate will be proficient with REVIT, Adobe Suite, Office suite and Bluebeam. You will have experience coordinating engineering and consultant teams, excellent graphic and written/verbal communication skills and experience with all stages of permitting and municipal processes. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to independently manage clients, teams and schedules with a high degree of professionalism, as well as be highly motivated.

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in Canada, a Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degree in Architecture. You will have strong English verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong client communication, collaboration and conflict resolution skills are required. The successful candidate will have experience in large-scale office, institutional and mixed-use projects, experience working in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision. You will have minimum basic knowledge of various Canadian Codes, basic knowledge and administrative experience with various CCDC construction contracts, strong proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Teams. You will have knowledge and experience with the use of Newforma and or Revit is preferred, you will also need to be able to travel on short notice.
