The architectural firm works hand in hand with a notable developer in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. Their approach melds aesthetic excellence with functional design to transform everyday environments. Their expertise spans across feasibility studies, advanced visualization, and comprehensive project management, from schematic design through to construction & closeout.
Your new role
As an Architect, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing the construction of innovative and sustainable residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to bring visionary concepts to life. You will develop architectural designs and plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, and ensure all designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and industry standards. You will conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will need a Bachelor/Master's in Architecture, with at least 5+ years of local experience of experience in architectural design and project management, specifically with mid/high-rise residential experience. You will need exceptional drawing skills with proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.), and have a strong understanding of Ontario Building Codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes. You will need to be a licensed OAA Architect in this role.
