Your new role

• Ensure the month-end and year-end close processes are completed, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with the company’s accounting policies.
• Reconcile cash and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Assist with annual budgeting and monthly management reporting
• Supervise and oversee Accounts Payable Function
• Manage all aspects of the general ledger
• Ensure the Group is in compliance on a monthly basis with GST / PST, WCB and EHT.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional accounting designation / CPA
• 3+ years of accounting supervisory experience, preferably in a team-oriented, project accounting environment.
• Solid knowledge of ASPE
• Demonstrated advanced level skills with Microsoft Office suite and proprietary software.
• Experience in construction will be an asset.
