AR/AP Specialist

Your new company

We have partnered with a property management company and theyre looking for a AR/ AP Specialist to join their team.

Your new role

  • Production and mailing of checks
  • Posting receipts and payable batches
  • Handling all tasks related to AP/AR
  • Managing invoicing (TBC amount)
  • Internal communication with stakeholders
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and maintaining financial reports
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Processing expense reports
  • Supporting audits and compliance reviews
  • Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
  • Data Entry

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience with Yardi system (nice to have)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Open to candidates outside of the property industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills (formulas, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Open to candidates without Canadian experience
  • Preference for candidates with commercial industry experience, but residential is also acceptable
