AR/AP Specialist
Your new company
We have partnered with a property management company and theyre looking for a AR/ AP Specialist to join their team.
Your new role
- Production and mailing of checks
- Posting receipts and payable batches
- Handling all tasks related to AP/AR
- Managing invoicing (TBC amount)
- Internal communication with stakeholders
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Processing expense reports
- Supporting audits and compliance reviews
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Data Entry
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience with Yardi system (nice to have)
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Open to candidates outside of the property industry
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills (formulas, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP)
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Open to candidates without Canadian experience
- Preference for candidates with commercial industry experience, but residential is also acceptable
