Senior Ruby on Rails Software Developer
We are seeking a talented Senior Ruby on Rails Software Developer to join a growing development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and scale our platform while contributing to the overall product vision. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Ruby on Rails applications.
- Architect and implement features across both the frontend and backend.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Continuously adopt and integrate relevant new technologies.
- Conduct code reviews to uphold quality and security standards.
- Mentor junior developers and support team growth.
What We Are Looking For:
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and associated frameworks.
- Experience with GoLang and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of building RESTful APIs and working with third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with mapping and geospatial technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts effectively.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with HTML Over the Wire (Hotwire).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
- Leadership or mentorship experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube).
- Ability to contribute to technical design documentation.
