ERP Specialist & Digital Transformation Lead

We are seeking a seasoned specialist in enterprise software and ERP systems to lead digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will optimize workflows across multiple departments (Operations, Estimating, Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.), oversee IT services, and integrate innovative technologies such as AI to drive efficiency and productivity.
This position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work in offices located in Ottawa’s east or west end, or in a hybrid arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Integration Lead for system implementations, ensuring seamless adoption by users. Develop dashboards and scorecards to track performance metrics and trends for strategic decision-making.
  • Assess and improve processes across departments, interconnect workflows, and implement efficiencies through digitization.
  • Provide technical expertise in ERP systems and enterprise software architecture, including offering second and third-tier application support.
  • Leverage AI and other modern technologies to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
  • Manage IT services, including hardware/software oversight and the development of policies for data storage and security.
  • Enhance data collection processes and utilize analytics to inform decision-making and improve business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement, integrate, and optimize enterprise solutions, while educating users on application features and advancements.
  • Lead ERP and software projects, research emerging technologies, and contribute to team development with the potential for future leadership roles.
  • Set budgets and prepare investment proposals for projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of business experience in systems management, process implementation, or IT consulting.
  • Expertise in enterprise software applications and ERP systems such as Vista Viewpoint, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong background in software development, database management, and enterprise-level software solutions.
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for modernizing technology applications.
