Hays Construction & Development has once again partnered with our locally owned Residential builder client to recruit for a Warranty Manager! Your new role

As the Warranty Manager, you will be responsible on a daily basis for the performance of your team as well as overseeing the warranty process for home construction. Ensuring that homeowners have a high standard of quality and ensuring their satisfaction of any warranty claims.

In this role you will lead your team of Administrator's and Technicians in multiple sites across Ottawa. You will resolve homeowner concerns with professionalism and assess warranty claims against guidelines. You will schedule subs for repair work as well as maintain accurate documentation of claims and costs.

You will also oversee completion of PDI's, 30-day, 1-year and 2-year reports. You will have budgetary responsibilities in this role and resolve any recurring issues with the construction team or others in the firm.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this vital role, you should have at least 3–5 years in a previous similar role in a similar capacity, Manager. You must have strong knowledge of Tarion as well as Ontario Building Codes and a thorough understanding of the construction process.
