A well- established real estate firm, located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, is looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team.

Your new role

• Lead the property management accounting operations while managing and supervising junior staff.

• Ensure the monthly accounting processes and financial reporting packages are completed on time

• Conduct annual reviews of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and property tax recovery reconciliations

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement

• Prepare and file GST remittances

• Work closely with property management teams throughout the budgeting process and provide financial analysis

• Continuous process improvement by collaborating with senior management and developing training materials for operational efficiency
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• CPA designation

• 5+ years accounting experience with 2+ years in Real Estate

• 1+ year's experience in a management position

• Yardi software experience preferred

• Strong understanding of GAAP

• Self-motivated, proactive individual with a continuous development mindset

• Experience implementing process enhancements
