• Optimizing productivity, processes and profitability of the corporate services department
• Developing and implementing corporate policies and procedures to help achieve organizational objectives
• Managing the evaluation, training and development of the corporate services team; establishing performance criteria and KPIs necessary to achieve organizational objectives
• Evaluating workforce and communicating changes requires to executive management
• Developing, directly or through the corporate services team, a reliable bank of quality precedents
• Organizing the workforce and teams within the corporate group to improve productivity
• Managing department workflow on an as-needed basis
• Remain up-to-date on corporate governance requirements, and ensure that policies and processes are in conformity with best practices
• Monitor work occupation levels of members in the paralegal department and define staffing needs to management
• Identifying new opportunities to improve and increase coverage of client needs
• Coordinate and participate in various projects related to corporate services

Qualifications:

• DCS in paralegal technology or equivalent diploma
• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in corporate law
• Excellent oral and writing skills in French and English
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients, lawyers and team members
• Aptitude for multi-tasking and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Experience with CorpLink not required, but an asset
