Your new role
For the General Manager/Business Development Manager (GM/BDM) role, we need a leader with strong operational, business development, and people management skills to drive growth and integration across our Canadian firms.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience: 10+ years in business leadership within the industries they're focusing on.
- Mergers & Turnarounds: Proven experience in business integration and transformation.
- Growth Mindset: Track record of scaling businesses beyond market growth rates.
- Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of lean processes and offshore back-office optimization.
- Strategic Sales & BD: Ability to secure major projects and establish long-term client relationships.
- Financial Acumen: P&L management experience with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar industry.
- Strong financial and operational management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of Canadian and U.S. regulatory environments (this is nice to have)
