Our client, a publicly traded Canadian organization, are looking to hire a Finance Manager to their team

The Finance Manager will be responsible for evaluating business expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities, renegotiating vendor contracts, and managing insurance programs to reduce costs and improve compliance with risk mitigation strategies. As the Finance Manager, you will handle financial analysis, vendor management, risk assessment, and strategic reporting, supported by developing financial models and dashboards. The Finance Manager will carry out cross-department collaboration to drive financial efficiency, align strategies with business objectives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.

The suitable candidate is required to hold a post-secondary degree in an Accounting or similar field as well as being CPA designated. The Finance Manager will need to have at least 7 years of progressive FP&A and business partnering experience within a fast-paced environment. The Finance Manager is required to have strong communication and Excel skills as well as exposure to SAP.
