Construction Coordinator

Your new role

This role provides effective construction coordination services to the CCM Phase 1 Project in accordance with the company's Project management principles of Safety, Quality, Scope, Schedule, and Cost. This role is primarily an individual contributor role that provides support to the Construction Lead. This role adds value by monitoring conditions in the field (Safety, Quality, Scope, Schedule, and Cost) that could adversely affect the effective execution of Projects and recommends corrective actions as required for successful completion of the Project. The Construction Coordinator works collaterally with his/her peers in the Project Team and cross functionally with all other areas of the operations to execute the overall construction plan developed by the Construction Manager and his/her team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ensure all safety plans are adequate, conduct regular audits, inspections, and accident investigations, while maintaining clear communication regarding workplace hazards.Oversee daily site visits, contractor communication, and coordination of underground construction activities to align with project scopes and designs.

  • Maintain both hard copy and electronic documentation of safety, quality, scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.

  • Collaborate with teams to identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements for safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness, and expedite day-to-day contractor schedules.
  • Act as the primary contact for construction contractors, supervise their compliance with project-specific requirements, and ensure the safe execution of all assigned tasks.
  • Participate in design reviews, change management processes, and quality planning to ensure project standards are met and continuous improvements implemented.
