Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a construction company based in Calgary. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team for a 1-2-month contract with the potential to extend. This position is full-time hours, Monday-Friday, and fully in the office.

Your new role

• Obtain approvals, coding, entering and posting invoices in the Accounts Payable system
• Research and resolve accounts payable issues with estimators and/or vendors
• Participate in mid-month and month-end cheque runs
• General filing of posted/paid invoices
• Process daily cash deposits
• Set up new vendors in system
• Process and pay all property taxes
• Process and pay customer referrals

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Excel and an ERP system (Sage 300 is an asset).
• This is a full-time contract starting immediately, so we are only able to consider immediately available candidates.*
