Commercial Maintenance Technician in Saskatoon. Competitive base salary plus additional on-call compensation.
Key Responsibilities / Job Duties
Maintain the daily operations of the mechanical and electrical equipment in the commercial buildings and parking lots, and shall include, from time to time, plumbing, painting, locksmith repairs and other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Conduct scheduled inspections, including vacant space checks, building exterior rounds and common areas.
Perform monthly, preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, including changing filters, belts, grease, calibration and adjustment of temperature control systems in the mechanical rooms as well as each floor.
Respond professionally to tenant service requests in a timely manner and follow up until completion. Follow-up on work order completion to gauge tenant satisfaction.
Secure services of contracted support that are necessary to maintain daily operations when scope of work warrants it. Ensure work is completed in a timely manner, within budget and to standard.
Must be available for after-hours maintenance and emergency service. Must make prior arrangements with the Maintenance Manager for scheduled time off or advise the Maintenance Manager when there is an availability issue.
