Key Responsibilities:
- Solution design, point-of-view, sales collateral, proposals and contracts: Assist the Sales Director in preparing sales collateral, presentations, proposals, contracts, agreements, and other relevant documents as part of the sales execution, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Be the primary owner of finalizing the solution proposition in presentations and proposals for all sales opportunities that you will support. Maintain all documentation and knowledge repository and leverage the same for future sales opportunities.
- Sales coordination – cross-functional coordination: Collaborate with the Sales Director and the Product Management, Marketing, and Delivery teams to prepare for meetings, presentations, and demonstrations for prospective clients. Facilitate communication between these teams to ensure alignment and synergy.
- Customer relationship: Act as the primary point of contact for addressing all solution-specific questions from clients for all sales opportunities. Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, thereby supporting the Sales Director(s), addressing inquiries related to propositions and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and define tailored solutions.
- Product knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our digital payments products and stay updated on industry trends. Provide product information - product features, benefits, integration processes, and value proposition - to clients as needed to ensure the sale of our product/solution for each sales opportunity.
- Market research: Stay informed about the competitive landscape and market trends to provide valuable insights to the sales and product management teams with respect to products/solutions, features/functionality, benefits and value offered by competitors, market needs, use-cases and success stories, and key executive profiles in clients’ organizations.
- Reporting: Analyze sales pipelines to prepare, execute and track the sales support execution plan and report all performance metrics every week and at the end of each month. Identify areas for improvement and implement course-corrections.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably in the digital payment industry, in the target market, with product-based solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of digital payment technologies, trends, and regulatory landscape in the target market, preferably in the areas of Real-time Payments, Bill and Invoice Payments and other Overlay Services, Fraud and Risk Management, Merchant Acquiring and Acceptance, Cross-border Payments, and Payment Modernization.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to support the achievement of sales targets.
- Existing relationships and a strong professional network with executives in the digital payment industry, specifically executives at Financial Institutions (Banks), the Central Bank or Central Payment Infrastructure Operator, Payment Processors, Payment Service Providers and Fintechs in the target country/market, will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Business, Marketing, or a related/relevant field.
